The primary goal of purchase was to have a device which can be used to activate the maintenance functions on my EU-market Honda Civics; the OBD device and ThinkDiag (or Dollarfix) combo is not capable of that. The Dollarfix app recommended on the supplied brochure is quite annoying, I personally don't want to be in a 'community' neither see other guys from around the world with various issues etc, nor collect points, rewards, whatever else, just to have a feature-rich OBD adapter. To tell the truth, Dollarfix provides such functions too, I just simply don't like that an OBD adapter SW is integrated with something else. Fortunately you can always choose ThinkDiag having only the diagnostics functionality.

doesnt recognize vins automatically at all - tried on 4 cars and all needed to manually input vin to work
shows error codes well tho
completely doesnt work on kline cars or something without the main gateway or something which isnt stated anywhere
the dollarfix+ app is atrocious
its stated that there is 10 languages
yeah right
its just english google translated to those languages
there isnt even an option to choose a langugage - it chooses for you automatically based on your system language
when i was buying, after watching a review i was sure id get the thinkdiag app or something which looked great but no heres the dollarfix social media app ?
it seems to still have the functionality of the thinkdiag app but its just so unnecessary to have social media inbuilt to your car scanner app ??
